Going nowhere
Are we a stubborn lot, or what? Really, I don't see much difference in people today versus people several millinia ago. God speaks - we follow for a while, then decide to go our own way because we think we can handle it from here on out. Right? Kind of reminds me of the bumper sticker that says - "God is my co-pilot." That's the problem! We dream up what we want to do for God and then ask him to bless it. Wrong! God is always on mission, and he invites us to become involved in what he is already doing.
So where do we go from here? Try starting with nowhere. Is it making sense now?
