When others cut you down, rise above it
This is another image captured at the BWCA. For me, the image of the lone tree symbolizes those people who struggle when they are wronged, and think that no one else is there to stand with them. The fruit may have whithered from their lives, and without help, the hurt and pain can sometimes take years to heal, if ever.
But I'm thankful that I have Someone who bore my stripes and secured my healing.
After reading the story, if you've been wronged, why don't you take a few minutes and ask Jesus to restore the fruit to your life.
