Empty hands open closed doors

I love Charleston, SC. I have two brothers who live their along with their families. We try to visit when we can. We love to walk the streets downtown and take in the history, culture, architecture, and people. It's truly a one of a kind place.

I've been fascinated with old homes for quite a while. As I walked the interior of downtown one day while Kathleen and Lauren were shopping in the market, I came across this home. The blue doors juxtaposed next to the narrow entry door drew me in. A simple composition with subdued lighting gave me the reward I was looking for.

It was only a few minutes later that this title came to me - Empty hands open closed doors. The nice thing is, they still do.
