Step forward in faith

This shot was taken at Acadia National Park in Maine a few years ago. One evening we drove around the island chasing the setting sun looking for just the right locaiton. We missed it that night, but after dinner the next night, we settled down by some rocks and just watched the surf pound the shore. As the sun set behind us, it poked in and out of the clouds and gave us a backlit view of the rocky shore and surf.

Looking out into the Red Sea must have been a daunting thing for Moses. But even more so, when the water receded and stood up in heaps to the left and right of the Israelites while they passed by on dry ground. And at night I might add. Yep - check it out, it's in the Bible.

It may have even been a night just like ours.
