1982 was the year of my very first art fair. Now, 37 years later, it’s time to say good bye – to art fairs that is. However, I will keep creating art as long as my finger can press a shutter button. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The memories we have, the friends we’ve made, and the patrons to thank are way too many to innumerate. So, from the bottom of our hearts, we are grateful beyond measure for your love and support over the years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of my mentors said many years ago, “Every business or organization must have an altruistic purpose.” <\/em>That is – a purpose much bigger than itself. One that reaches way beyond profit and loss. A purpose that benefits mankind. Kathleen and I have tried our best to uphold the principle of altruism in our business. We acknowledge that every good and perfect gift<\/em> comes from and belongs to God, and we are simply stewards of those gifts in order to bless others. We hope that has shone through our work and our actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So, what’s next? I’ll keep creating for sure! I will also keep exhibiting across the country. I would also like to be a judge\/juror (for art fairs and exhibits – not the kind that wears a black robe!). And, I think I will finally put together those workshops that you’ve been asking for. So, stay tuned for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For now, it’s time to rest up and reflect. But don’t worry, my trigger finger will get itchy soon enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
