Although I took my camera gear, I wasn&#8217;t expecting a lot of color as the conditions in our area have been extremely dry. We were surprised driving along the river road how much color was on the hill sides.<br \/>Once we arrived at the park it started to rain more heavily and steadily. Usually I&#8217;m totally prepared to shoot in the rain, but today was more about leisure and lunch at the lodge with Gege. But, we ventured out for a few moments and got a couple of snaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll definitely plan on returning again next year. Hopefully the color returns as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery aligncenter columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul
