I offered a quick call and he came running &#8211; fast! In the close up image he is about 9-10 feet away. Although their song is faint, he was singing up a storm. And, you may know, their feathers aren&#8217;t blue. They are closer to black. It&#8217;s the light diffraction passing through them that make them appear blue.
