Cedar waxwings came to visit

Bam! Just like that it happened. Kathleen and I were in the kitchen cooking supper. I had the “Nick Stellino par boiled/fried potatoes” (best ever!) and she had the gluten-free chicken tenders in the Ninja foodie. I glanced out the window and saw several cedar waxwings land in two cedar cuttings I brought in from the field. (First ever in my yard) Then they started gorging on the berries. The potatoes were frying, but I had to get some shots. I ran downstairs grabbed my camera, fiddled with the setting on the way up and out the door. I only had a few seconds. I cracked the back garage door and literally within 10 seconds ripped off about 15 snaps. Finished the potatoes, sat down, prayed, and ate. Bam! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Hope you enjoy. Do you know why they are called waxwings?

I'd love to hear from you.

Another chapter in the Witness of Creation

I shared on Friday the joy I had with our good friend Jeff Mason, who hosts a podcast. During the podcast Jeff allowed me to share my passion of photography and the Gospel. And, because time is limited on the podcast (along with attention spans!), I wanted to share a bit more encouragement with you.
