Eleven Lights
Eleven lights, by doubt once dimmed,
Now bear the flame their Master trimmed.
Peter, strong, with heart astray,
Found strength renewed on Easter’s day.
James and John, of fire and might,
Spread truth’s wings in darkest night.
Philip, doubter turned to guide,
With open heart, walked by his side.
Matthew, taxman, pen in hand,
The Master’s words across the land.
Thomas, touched by wounds divine,
His faith forever made to shine.
The rest, with steadfast purpose bold,
The message spread, both young and old.
Though one betrayed, their purpose clear,
To share the love that conquered fear.
