Pause for beauty

Let me ask you to pause for just a minute… and consider how is it that we humans have the ability to gaze upon and consider beauty.

Only a creator God could give us that.

While out glassing these dickcissels during and after the rain this morning, the colors, pastels, hues, textures, and compositional framing of all of the elements caused me to pause and just consider the beauty around me. Yes, it’s an extreme joy to be able to capture these creatures in their own right. But, to capture all of the “extra” stuff that goes with them…. well, I’m not sure I can fully express my gratitude.

So, I’ll just pause and let it all sink in, and let my eyes wander through each scene marveling at the handiwork of our Creator.
