Be still and know…

One of my favorite verses I committed to memory decades ago is Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God…” That seems like an easy thing to say and do, but the later isn’t always easy now, is it?

In our hustle and bustle gotta have it all culture our Father is saying, “You don’t have to have it all, because I own it all, and I’ll give you what you need from day to day if you make my kingdom your primary concern. (Matt 6:33)

So, here sits a female hummingbird, seemingly without a care in the world. Maybe that’s because just 3 feet away is a feeder filled with an endless supply of nectar! Doesn’t our Father own a storehouse filled with much more than sugar water! So, why are we striving?

“Be still and know…” All I can say is I’m trying. How about you?

Standing alone

The Field of Unspoken Dreams
