They’re baaaaaak!
Who you ask? Bluebirds, of course. We live in St. Charles and in our 27 years of living here we’ve only had bluebirds show up the past few springs and summers while they raise their broods. We also put our dried meal worms to help keep them around until they migrate.
Well, this is the first winter they showed back up in the area. As our state bird, they are always a delight to see. While feeding on our suet, I managed to fire off a few snaps before they departed back into the woods behind our home.
