Sitting in my home office on a cold, rainy day, I peered out the window. DRAB! Yep, that describes it – drab! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the rain. Hiking/photographing in the rain is my favorite thing to do. But this day it was just above freezing and snow was on the way. As my eyes perused our back yard I noticed droplets of water hanging from our trellis. The back-lighting and contrast were stunning. So out I went with my macro lens and an umbrella. Now I just had to find the right composition. Bam! I think I found it. What do you think?

Standing alone

The Field of Unspoken Dreams
